Getting There

The nearest airports to the hotel in Riva del Garda are Verona Valerio Catullo (VRN), about 1 hour away, Milan Linate (LIN) and Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY), both approximately 2 hours away from the hotel. From these airports, you can either rent a car for a scenic drive or arrange a shuttle service through the hotel.

Transport

For the activities surrounding the wedding, you won’t need a car. However, if you plan to stay in the area before or after the celebration, a car is the best way to explore the stunning landscapes and charming towns nearby.

Surrounding Areas

We first fell in love with the northern part of Lake Garda (Arco, Riva del Garda, Nago, etc.) after our first visit to rock climb in Arco, and have been regularly returning to the area ever since. This is where the hotel and venue are located. The area is a hotspot for outdoor enthusiasts. If you're into hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, windsurfing, or just a peaceful lakeside swim, there are plenty of options. Local agencies offer a range of tours and rentals.

If you're planning to stay a bit longer, we highly recommend exploring the nearby areas. The nature here is spectacular, and the picturesque towns offer a mix of well-trodden charm and hidden gems. One of our favorite towns along Lake Garda is Malcesine, located on the east side of the lake. It features a lakeside castle and the option to hike—or take the cable car—up to Monte Baldo for panoramic views. The west side of the lake, with towns like Limone sul Garda and Gargnano, offers plenty of charm, lakeside dining and swimming.

If you’re looking to venture further, the Dolomites are just a short drive away—ideal for hiking or simply taking in the dramatic mountain scenery. And for a taste of history and culture, Verona is just around the corner—rich in architecture, and of course, home to the story of Romeo and Juliet.
